Welcome to Giles County, Tennessee!

We’re here to serve our citizens.

Giles County’s officials are here to serve the citizens of Giles County, and the county’s new official website is here to help.

Each Giles County office has a page designed to make finding what you need very efficient. Pages include contact information, directions, links, forms and an explanation of what services are available.

Navigation is divided conveniently into three categories: Public Safety, County Offices and the Courts.

In addition you’ll find links to regional, state and federal resources as well as some of the County’s partners.

Calendars, agendas and meeting minutes help you keep abreast of County Commission activities.

Many County offices have interactive pages to assist you with conducting business online.

You may even choose to pay your taxes online as well as complete a number of other necessary tasks without ever leaving your home.

Of course, with Giles County boasting the most beautiful courthouse in the country, you may want to make the trip to Pulaski’s historic square just to enjoy the grandeur of the 1909 courthouse, captured above by Bella Images!

If you observe a county employee engaging in any activity which you consider to be illegal, improper or wasteful, please fill out this form or call the State Comptroller’s Toll-Free Hotline: 1.800.232.5454

Founded in 1809, Giles County is a progressive area with a strong sense of pride in its heritage. With a population of 30,000 Giles County is small enough for neighbors to know one another and large enough to offer a rich quality of life.

Pulaski, the county seat, is centrally located and has a population of more than approximately 8,000.

In addition to Pulaski, named an All American City in 1993, the county has four other incorporated communities: Minor Hill, with a population of 531; Elkton, a town of 529; the Alabama border town of Ardmore with 1,228 residents; and historic Lynnville with a population of 751.

Giles County has dozens of small communities. Most have their own churches, while others have a community center, a small library, a local store and even annual special events.
